Agra is one of the most visited places in India, as it is home to one of the most famous landmarks in the world: the Taj Mahal, considered one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Agra is a city founded in the sixteenth century by the Mongol Empire.

4. Mausoleum of Itimad-ud-Daulah

It is known as “the little Taj” considered a kind of sketch of the Taj Mahal. It was built between 1622 and 1628 in white marble. This building represented an evolution in the Mongolian architecture, since at that time it was built with red sandstone.

How to Reach Agra

Agra is well connected by Air, Road and Trains.

By Air: Agra has the Kheria Airport which is military based 13kms away from the city. You will have to hire the taxi to reach Agra.

By Trains: There are regular trains to Agra from Delhi, Jaipur, Mumbai and other cities of India.  If you want to enjoy the luxurious journey then Palace on Wheels and Maharaja Express are available.

By Road: Agra is well connected by buses from the cities like Delhi, Jaipur, Gwalior, Kanpur etc. Also you can hire the taxis to reach Agra.
